Call for Judges: Nebraska Summer Research Symposium on August 5
The Nebraska Summer Research Symposium is set to take place from 1 to 3 p.m. on August 5 at the Nebraska Union’s Centennial Room and Ballroom. This event highlights the innovative research and creative efforts of undergraduate students participating in various programs, including the Summer Research Program, Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experience, and the McNair Program. Additionally, high school interns from the Nebraska Center for Materials and Nanoscience, Young Nebraska Scientists, and the Nebraska Center for Energy Sciences Research will also showcase their work.
Faculty, administrators, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students are invited to volunteer as judges for this event. Judges will evaluate 4-6 undergraduate research posters during a one-hour session. All volunteers will receive evaluation criteria in advance to ensure a fair judging process. Participation in this symposium not only enriches the academic community but also provides valuable feedback to aspiring researchers. Interested individuals can sign up to be a judge for this exciting opportunity.
