Nebraska Prairie Museum to Induct New Honorees into Phelps County Sports Wall of Honor
Holdrege, Nebr. – The Nebraska Prairie Museum is excited to announce its annual Phelps County Sports Wall of Honor ceremony will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025, as part of the beloved Midsummer Festival. This event aims to celebrate the achievements of local athletes and their supporters, honoring those who have made significant contributions to Phelps County sports.
This year, five distinguished individuals will be inducted into the Wall of Honor: Julianna Burr, Dan Jones, Gabriella Garcia, Denis Reese, and Bob King. Their impressive accomplishments and dedication to athletics have earned them a place of recognition among the county’s sporting elite.
The evening will kick off with a Swedish-themed dinner at 5:00 p.m., followed by the induction program commencing at 6:30 p.m. The event promises a festive atmosphere as community members gather to celebrate local athletic talent. Importantly, the ceremony is free and open to the public, with no tickets or reservations required, making it accessible for all to attend and honor these remarkable individuals.
