Malorie Boesiger Commits to Nebraska Cornhuskers Volleyball Program
Nebraska, USA – Norris High School’s standout setter Malorie Boesiger, a rising junior, has made waves in the volleyball community by committing to the Nebraska Cornhuskers for her future collegiate career. Announcing her decision via social media, Boesiger expressed her excitement, stating, "I’m extremely excited to announce my commitment to the University of Nebraska to further my academic and volleyball career."
Despite having received interest from ten other programs, the allure of playing for one of the nation’s premier volleyball teams was too strong. Boesiger emphasized her gratitude, thanking God, her family, coaches, and teammates for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout her journey.
The commitment holds special significance as Boesiger will not only be living out her dreams but also following in the footsteps of her older sister, Maise Boesiger, who will be a senior on the Nebraska team this fall. Malorie ranks among the top players in the Class of 2027, being recognized in the Top 35 overall and the Top 10 among setters by PrepDig.
Nebraska’s volleyball program, renowned for its rich history and competitive spirit, has won five AIAW/NCAA championships, with the latest victory in 2017 and an impressive runner-up finish in 2023.
