Severe Storms Hit Nebraska Panhandle: Continued Threat Ahead
Sidney, NE – June 15, 2025 – A powerful late-afternoon storm swept through the Nebraska Panhandle on Sunday, bringing high winds, hail, and reports of funnel clouds. The National Weather Service (NWS) issued an array of storm watches beginning around 5 p.m., quickly escalating to thunderstorm warnings as the tempest made its way from McGrew to Potter and across Cheyenne County.
