IRVING, Texas — Nebraska football hero Ndamukong Suh has made his mark once again by being included on the 2026 College Football Hall of Fame ballot, which was unveiled by the National Football Foundation on Monday. The ballot features 79 players and nine coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision, along with 100 players and 35 coaches from the divisional ranks.

Suh, who is renowned for his incredible collegiate career, garnered the AP College Football Player of the Year award in 2009 and was a Heisman Trophy finalist. His standout season included remarkable statistics: 20.5 tackles for loss and 12 sacks. Suh’s performance during the Big 12 championship game against Texas was particularly unforgettable, where he recorded seven tackles for loss and a staggering 4.5 sacks, showcasing his dominance on the field.

In addition to Suh, the ballot also recognizes Nebraska connections in the divisional ranks. Chadron State’s punter Duane Fritz, a 1975 first-team NAIA All-American, and UNK coach Allen Zikmund, who led the Lopers to 11 conference titles, have also been nominated.
