Lincoln, NE – May 29, 2023 – Nebraska baseball has earned a spot as the No. 3 seed in the NCAA Regional in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The Cornhuskers, boasting a record of 32-27, are set to face second-seeded Oklahoma (35-20) on Friday, May 30, at 4 p.m. CT, streamed live on ESPN+.
This matchup marks the 251st meeting between Nebraska and Oklahoma, with the Sooners recently finishing as the No. 12 seed in the SEC Baseball Tournament, where they were eliminated by fourth-seeded Vanderbilt in the quarterfinals.
This selection highlights Nebraska’s rich baseball tradition, marking the program’s 19th NCAA Tournament appearance and the 16th in the last 25 seasons, excluding the 2020 cancellation.
