Sidney High School FFA Celebrates Achievements at Annual Banquet
Sidney, May 17, 2025 – The Sidney High School FFA Chapter held its annual Achievement Banquet on Friday, May 16, celebrating a year of accomplishments and announcing the new officer team for the upcoming year. President Peyton Sprenger opened the event with a roll call, ensuring all officers were present, before a heartfelt prayer was offered and a meal was enjoyed by attendees.
The banquet recognized valued guests and highlighted the year’s achievements, with Sprenger delivering her retirement address. Reflecting on the challenges of the year, she noted difficulties stemming from the absence of an advisor, which was resolved just days before the school year commenced. "It has been challenging, but rewarding to see everyone compete and succeed," Sprenger remarked.
The new 2025-2026 Sidney FFA Officer team was announced, featuring Josette McConnell as President, Mady Kennedy as Vice President, Jenessa Bruner as Secretary, Emily Boshtavoi as Treasurer, Sara Allard as Reporter, and Alizah Perrenoud as Sentinel. The evening concluded with a sense of optimism for the year ahead, underscoring the resilience and commitment of the chapter members.
