Nebraska football’s spring session is in full swing, with the team now nine practices in. Offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen and running backs coach EJ Barthel, along with players Nyziah Hunter, Janiran Bonner, and Kwinten Ives, recently met with the media to discuss the progress of the team. Holgorsen noted that the offensive line has been pushed hard during practice and praised their effort. He also mentioned that all the plays have been installed, which has some of the younger players feeling a bit overwhelmed.
The coaching staff has five more opportunities to work with the players before they break for June, and they are focused on improving physicality and refining skills at the skill positions. Topics such as the running backs, center position, tight ends, and early enrollees were also discussed during the media availability.
