Sign Up Now! University of Nebraska to Host Nebraska Football Road Race on Sunday, July 20

Registration is now open for the 13th annual Nebraska Football Road Race, sponsored by The Home Agency and The Lincoln Track Club. The event, which includes a one-mile Fun Run and a 5K run, will take place on Sunday, July 20 in Lincoln.
The history of the event is rooted in the relationship between former Nebraska running back Rex Burkhead and pediatric brain cancer patient Jack Hoffman, who captured the hearts of many when he ran for a 69-yard touchdown in the 2013 Spring Game. Since then, the Nebraska football team has been dedicated to raising funds for pediatric brain cancer research, with nearly $200,000 donated through the first 12 road races.
Participants in both races will have the opportunity to run 69 yards on Tom Osborne Field, just like Jack did, and will be cheered on by members of the Husker Football team and other student-athletes. Select players will take part in the one-mile Fun Run, and registrants can interact with the team during the event.
Interested individuals can register online at https://huskers.com/roadrace until July 19th, with fees increasing after July 16th. Late registration will be available on the day of the race for an increased fee. Participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt and bracelet, with all proceeds going towards pediatric brain cancer research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
