Nancy Reeves, a beloved member of the Peru State College community, passed away on November 19, 2021, at the age of 84. Nancy, who was married to Jerry Dean Reeves for over 60 years, was a dedicated mother to their three children, Diana, Wade, and Lisa.
During her time at Peru State College, Nancy worked tirelessly in various departments for over three decades before retiring. Known for her love of cooking, antiques, and spending time with her grandchildren, Nancy was also a devoted animal lover, particularly to her cherished dog “Sparky”.
Her family and friends remember her fondly for the special times they shared together, especially the moments spent around the table enjoying her delicious homemade meals. Nancy’s warm heart and generous spirit will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on November 25, 2021, at Peru State College. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the local animal shelter in Nancy’s memory.
