Sidney High School senior guard Jordan DeNovellis recently signed her letter of intent to play basketball at Park University in Gilbert, Arizona, despite missing her senior season due to an ACL injury. DeNovellis, who plans to study biology with hopes of working in healthcare, chose Park University for its coaching staff and opportunity to continue playing college basketball. She expressed gratitude for the support from her coaches, school, and community throughout her career. DeNovellis credited her coaches for helping her develop as a player and person, emphasizing the impact they had on her. Despite not being able to play for Sidney this season, DeNovellis remains optimistic and excited to join the Park University Buccaneers. The program competes in the NAIA’s Great Southwest Athletic Conference. Her signing ceremony was attended by her parents and showcased her determination to continue pursuing her passion for basketball at the collegiate level.
