College Softball Results (2/7): Nebraska, Omaha, Mizzou, and Northwest all win both games


Regional college softball was in full swing on Friday, with teams like Nebraska, Omaha, Missouri, Northwest Missouri State, Iowa, UNI, Graceland, and Kansas all securing wins. Nebraska picked up two victories against Southern Miss and Bethune-Cookman, Omaha also secured two wins against Northern Iowa and Loyola Chicago, while Missouri defeated Marshall and Northwestern. Northwest Missouri State also had a successful day with wins over Southeastern Oklahoma State and Illinois Springfield.

Iowa and UNI both split their games, with Iowa falling to Tennessee but defeating Kennesaw State, and UNI losing to Omaha but beating North Dakota. Graceland had a close victory over York and followed it up with a win against Calumet (IN), while Kansas split their games, losing to Wisconsin but defeating Missouri State. Other notable results included Stony Brook defeating Iowa State, FIU edging out Iowa State in extra innings, Creighton picking up a win against Fort Wayne but falling to Coastal Carolina, and Morningside beating Peru State. Mount Marty also secured a win over Peru State, and UTEP won both their games against Kansas City.
