Man arrested by Nebraska State Patrol SWAT team after standoff


A man, identified as 38-year-old Keenan Jorschumb, was arrested by the Nebraska State Patrol SWAT team following a standoff in Stratton, Nebraska. The incident occurred when Jorschumb allegedly threatened a family member with a handgun inside a residence. The victim was able to escape, prompting authorities to call in the SWAT team.

The standoff began around 5:15 p.m. on Saturday and lasted until 3 a.m. on Sunday morning. Despite numerous attempts to communicate with Jorschumb, he did not respond. Eventually, authorities were able to enter the house and take Jorschumb into custody.
