Due to widespread power outages, the University of Nebraska at Omaha has canceled classes at Dodge Campus for Wednesday. However, classes at Scott Campus will proceed as scheduled. Students are advised to check Canvas for information from their instructors. The campus will remain closed to students and non-essential personnel overnight. More updates on Thursday’s classes will be provided by 6 a.m. on Thursday. The power issues are being addressed by OPPD, who disconnected electrical power to Dodge Campus after finding a damaged electrical cable. Crews are currently working to resolve the problem. Students and faculty can find more information on the university’s website. For the latest updates, visit KETV NewsWatch 7.
