Nebraska had a successful recruiting cycle in 2025, landing a top-20 class according to national pundits. However, the Huskers did miss out on some of their highest-rated targets. Five names to remember include San Antonio Alamo Heights athlete Michael Terry, Charlotte Providence Day offensive tackle David Sanders, Las Vegas Bishop Gorman interior lineman SJ Alofaituli, Millard South tight end Chase Loftin, and Algona (Iowa) quarterback Alex Manske.
Terry, a five-star receiver, chose Texas over Nebraska and Oregon, while Sanders is still considering Tennessee and Ohio State. Alofaituli signed with Miami, Loftin stuck with Florida State, and Manske chose Iowa State over Nebraska. Despite missing out on these recruits, Nebraska did secure commitments from other talented players in the 2025 class.
The Huskers added standout players such as Christian Jones from Omaha Westside, Dawson Merritt from Kansas City, Caden VerMaas, Cortez Mills, Julian Marks, Conor Booth, Pierce Mooberry, Tyson Terry, Isaiah Mozee, Jamarion Parker, and many more. These recruits bring a diverse set of skills and talents to the Nebraska football program and have the potential to make a significant impact in the coming years.
