R-CALF USA will be hosting two livestock producer meetings in Nebraska next month. The first meeting will take place on Dec. 6 at Bassett Livestock Auction in Bassett, with a social hour at 6 p.m. and speakers following a light supper at 7 p.m. The second meeting will be held on Dec. 10 at Valentine Livestock Auction in Valentine at 5 p.m. with a light supper provided.
At both events, R-CALF USA President Brett Kenzy and other representatives will provide updates, specifically on the organization’s lawsuit and actions against the electronic ear tag mandate. The 2025 R-CALF USA Calendar will also be available for purchase at both meetings.
R-CALF USA advocates for the U.S. cattle and sheep industries in trade and marketing issues to support the profitability and sustainability of independent producers. The organization encourages producers to participate and have their voices heard in industry decisions and policies. Attendees at the meetings can expect valuable insights and information on the current state of the industry and how they can be more involved in shaping its future.
