The Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles has announced expanded online registration services, making it easier for vehicle owners to renew their registrations. Non-resident military members living in Nebraska and Nebraska military members living out of state can now renew their vehicle registrations online. Online renewals are now available for single-plate decals, Amateur Radio plates, vehicles subject to Heavy Vehicle Use Tax requirements, and for vehicle owners who have moved within the same county or to a different Nebraska county. Additionally, registration for specialty plates and bulk renewals for registrations expiring in the same month can also be completed online. This initiative reflects the DMV’s commitment to making services more efficient and accessible for customers. Rhonda Lahm, Director of the Nebraska DMV, expressed excitement about the expanded online options, stating that it will save customers time and make it easier to stay compliant with registration requirements. Vehicle owners can check their eligibility for online renewal by visiting the DMV’s website. For the latest news updates, visit KETV NewsWatch 7.
