Nebraska State Patrol has announced the promotion of Major Jeff Roby to the rank of Lt. Colonel and Assistant Superintendent. Roby, a Grand Island native and 28-year NSP veteran, will be taking over the position from Lt. Colonel Buck Duis, who retired in November. Colonel John Bolduc, Superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol, praised Roby’s experience and knowledge, stating that his leadership will be a valuable asset to the patrol.
Roby’s previous role as Western Operations Major involved overseeing Patrol Division operations in northwest and southwest Nebraska, as well as serving at the NSP Training Academy and Crash Reconstruction Team.
