Maryland volleyball capped off their 2024 regular season with a 3-1 loss to No. 2 Nebraska in front of a record-setting crowd at the XFINITY Center. The Terps took the first set in a thrilling fashion, marking the first time they had won against Nebraska since 1975. Samantha Schnitta led the team with nine kills and set a program record for single-season service aces. Sydney Dowler ranked third all-time in assists for Maryland, and Sam Csire ended her career with 1453 kills, placing her third in program history.

The match also served as Senior Night for Maryland, as they honored their eight-member senior class in a special ceremony. The Huskers improved to 29-2 overall, earning a share of the Big Ten regular-season title. A record-breaking 13,071 fans attended the game, surpassing the previous program mark. Despite the loss, Maryland showed resilience and competitiveness throughout the match, ending the regular season with a 14-17 overall record and a 5-15 record in the Big Ten.
