Postgame Notes: Nebraska vs. Iowa – Husker Player Milestones and Records

Nebraska football ended their regular season with a 13-10 loss to Iowa, finishing with a 6-6 record. Despite the loss, several players hit career milestones during the rivalry game. Freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola moved into 10th place on the season passing list and is close to breaking the freshman passing record. Running back Dante Dowdell scored his 12th rushing touchdown of the season, the most by a Husker since 2018. Freshman receiver Jacory Barney Jr. is three catches away from breaking the freshman reception record. Offensive tackle Bryce Benhart tied the program record for most starts. Defensive lineman Ty Robinson had a strong performance with 6.0 sacks and 11.0 TFLs for the season. The Huskers held Iowa to their fewest first downs and total offensive yards in a Big Ten conference game. Despite the loss, Nebraska continues to show promise heading into the postseason and future seasons with their young talent making significant contributions.
