Nebraska Medicine and its volunteers are working to make the holidays brighter for families spending the season in the hospital. Paige Telley, a photographer, captures moments of calm and chaos to help families remember their time at the hospital. Many families, like the Hunts and Garzas from Texas, find themselves at Nebraska Medicine for weeks or months due to their children’s medical needs. Despite the challenges they face, the families appreciate the care their children are receiving and the hope that holiday photographs bring. Telley, a former volunteer on the Child Life and Family Development team, now uses her photography skills to give back to a place that means so much to her. Through her work, she hopes to showcase the true light and resilience of the families she photographs. The Hunt and Garza families, along with many others, will remember these holiday moments as a time of strength and hope, captured through the lens of Paige Telley’s camera.
