On August 2, in downtown Los Angeles, a driver named Shailoobek Uulu was brutally attacked by a large group of people on bikes after his vehicle was damaged. The incident occurred at the intersection of Olympic and Hope Avenue, where the group surrounded Uulu’s car and began attacking him when he got out of the vehicle. Uulu managed to run away, but the group continued to damage his car and then assault him, leaving him with bruises, cuts, and a broken leg.
Video footage captured the moment Uulu was being attacked from all angles as he tried to protect his car. A passerby eventually pulled him out of the circle of attackers, potentially saving his life. Uulu mentioned that during the attack, his personal belongings, including his wallet and documents, were stolen from his car.
The total damage to Uulu’s car is estimated to be around $20,000. Despite the severity of the incident, the Los Angeles Police Department has not made any arrests in connection to the attack. Uulu expressed gratitude for the person who intervened and saved him from further harm during the traumatic event. The motive behind the attack remains unclear.
