Roll-N-Sweetz, the popular ice cream shop in north Omaha, has opened an express location at the Inner Rail Food Hall in Aksarben Village. Founded by young entrepreneur a’Ron Burns, Roll-N-Sweetz offers more than 20 flavors of rolled ice cream, prepared by flattening and softening ice cream with spatulas and adding sauces, nuts, and other treats to the mix. Some of the unique creations include the Float Your Boat, made with Twix bars, root beer, whipped cream, caramel, and graham cracker crust, and the Golden Rule, featuring golden Oreos, whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and Oreo and graham cracker crumbs.
Burns initially started the business near 60th and Ames Street in 2022 when he was a high school senior. After a brief closure, he is now back in business with the express location at Inner Rail while his flagship shop is under construction.
