Trump’s departure from the White House.
The agreement with Dar Global, a subsidiary of Dar Al Arkan, involves building and selling luxury residential units in Jeddah, targeting international investors and vacationers. This project is part of a series of international ventures the Trump family has pursued over the years, leveraging the former president’s name and brand to attract affluent buyers.
The Trump Organization has previously collaborated with foreign developers on projects in Oman and hosted Saudi-backed golf tournaments at Trump courses. These branding deals have been a lucrative source of income for the family, with significant upfront payments and a share of luxury property sales.
However, these deals have raised concerns about potential conflicts of interest, especially those involving foreign government entities. Public Citizen, a watchdog group, has warned that if Mr. Trump were to return to the White House, these business relationships could pose ethical challenges.
