Most of River Country is at a level 2 risk for severe weather, including early morning thunderstorms. The Missouri River crested just shy of moderate flood stage at 31.7 feet, with forecasts predicting it to fall below flood stage on July 3. At Nebraska City, the river crested at 24.3 feet and is expected to drop below moderate flood stage by Tuesday morning. Brownville saw a crest of 41 feet, impacting the Steamboat Trace Trail and boat access roads, while Rulo’s crest of 23.6 feet closed boat ramps and impacted cabins. Despite a tornado warning in southeast Atchison County, no damage was reported.
